Awards
I have won numerous awards since I established my practice as a designer silversmith.
In 2002 I was one of five recipients of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland's Major Individual Awards Scheme.
The scheme, designed to create the circumstances in which established artists can develop individually with a view to attempting extended or ambitious work, is assisting me to create a body of work which I hope to exhibit in 2004.
I sought the award to extend my development as a designer/craftsman by producing a new range of silverware, which will stretch my designing and making skills, resulting in an ambitious and exciting range of work.
In addition to this I have received support under the Arts Council of Northern Ireland's Support for the Individual Artist Programme.
